The castle and inside rooms. Breakfast.

No AC in room thus it was too hot to sleep well. Spa and sauna was not open.

Beautiful getaway place for relaxation

Beautiful place all in all - building, terrace, interior, garden, yard. Relaxed atmosphere. Good beds. Had early start so didn't get to experience the breakfast, but did receive coffee and bread to go from the friendly personnel. Pool table and a great living room for hang-around. Pier nearby where you can go swimming into the sea.

Basic room and I think ours was an accessible one so we had some extra space, but the overall feel of the room was a bit odd/basic. Sauna wasn't functioning, but yet the ask for the shared spa space was a normal price (28€) - we didn't take it (sounds quite much over priced to me).

Excellent location for our needs and very affordable. Easy travel into central Stockholm.

Friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Location perfect for our family.

Next time I will try a larger room. Choices of dinner menu could be considered limited.

A very tranquil location with a delicious breakfast.

The hotel/castle is located in a very tranquil spot. It is close to a lake that is very beautiful and peaceful. The breakfast is exceptional. The castle which is the main building is nicely decorated on the inside. The coffee was quite good and the overall meal experience was very positive.

The website does not tell you that more than half of the rooms are outside the main castle. You walk a bit to get to an entirely different building which pretty much does not have the castle feeling. There are no coffee machines or even a pitcher of water in your room. If you want coffee, you have to wait until the main castle opens at 8 am. It's the first time in my life I stayed at a facility that did not provide some sort of hot beverage in your own room.

Beautiful and cosy stay

I'm very satisfied, great breakfast and room was small but cosy and had everything I needed. Lovely surroundings to go for a walk along the sea and very near the train station to the city.

It smelled of wet dogs in the breakfast room (dogs are allowed and it had been raining).

Beautiful place

The surroundings are beautiful. Guests’ rooms are although in a separate building and not in the castle itself. All nice and clean. Stuff very helpful.

The fact that hotel is only called Näsby Slott due to being closed to the castle. Rooms are in a different building in a residential area of Täby.

Country house style.

A very pleasant country house type of hotel. Nice interior. Perfect breakfast. Free parking very close to the hotel. I will be back!

My room had only a door for ventilation, which I did not feel comfortable using as the room was directly accessible from the street outside.

Good

This was my second stay, and the athmosphere and environment is beautiful as always. Good breakfast, attentive and friendly staff, nice room with comfy sofa chairs by the window.

The bathroom was quite cold, especially the floor. We stayed in a room in another building quite far away from the castle. There was no kettle although in the booking it was descibed that kettle was included.

Very enjoyable.

We really liked the friendliness of the staff. Most notably one staff member - Mette - went out of her way to make our stay as pleasant as it could be. After something went wrong between the Booking.com and Nasby Slott reservation systems we were accidentally placed in a lower category of room. Mette more than made up for that by moving us and offering us a free dinner. She even cared for our little dog while we went into Stockholm for a boat tour. What great care. This was way beyond the call of duty.

There was a moment of disappointment when we approached the property and saw a lot of new housing development in the vicinity. This feeling evaporated quickly when we took a walk at the lakeside, where the housing was no longer visible and we had the beautiful view of the lake - as we had seen on the website.

What was the highlight of Näsby Slott

Beautiful hotel but the service needs improvement.

The hotel environment was fantastic--a really nice building. The rooms had high ceilings and big windows. Breakast was pretty good but not fantastic--the variety could have been better--but again, the restaurant room itself was great.

This was a hit and miss affair: we arrived on a red day and reception was closed, so no access at all to the bar area, pool area or the common lounge. Also, parking was included in the price, but you had to register in reception, which we couldn't so I had to pay for 1 full day. My opinion is that reception should always be open during the day. The rooms were a bit warm and the beds too soft for me, so sleeping was difficult. I don't know what the current trend is with latex mattresses: they do not provide enough support. We paid for 2 rooms and there was no showergel in either. We washed with schampoo but this dries out the skin a lot. The shower doors did not close properly and the gap meant the floor got sprayed from the shower.

Great value for money

Great breakfast in my taste. Clean room, nice shower, free parking, comfortable bed.

Some more hangers for clothes could be added. Only 2 in the warderobe. Maybe a small croissont to the breakfast coffe could be added. No really negative things.
